The basic question is: should people go without the medical treatment they need just because they can't pay for it? Is a life worth any amount of money? We get plastic surgery, we invade other nations, we build up enormous companies ... but we can't pay for people to get the cancer treatment they need?

There's darwinism, and then there's an outright lack of humanity.
